Where do people actually get a loan without losing their mind in paperwork? Asking for a friend… but also for me.

Hey folks,So here I am, staring at loan options from the big banks and feeling like I need a PhD to figure out their fine print. Not to mention, by the time they finish "reviewing" my application, I’ll be eligible for a retirement plan instead of a personal loan.

Does anyone know of a reliable credit union in Canada where the process is actually straightforward — and dare I say, human? Bonus points if they don’t make you feel like you’re begging for your own money.
